People of Myanmar can sustain a thriving democracy when we all work together in unity and understanding. This is the bedrock of the Foundation’s way of working. The Foundation strongly believes in leading by example, by actively engaging with diverse communities in democratization and reform process as custodians of the country.

Mizzima Foundation will continue to build bridges across regions, ethnicities, civil society organizations, private sector, the government of Myanmar and the public instead of working in isolation. The Foundation is diligently working to strengthen transparent, participatory and consultative dialogue in democratization and reform process of Myanmar.

The Foundation is committed to work and partner with all stakeholders in Myanmar and neighbouring countries including civil society organizations such as community groups, ethnic organizations, women groups, youth groups, NGOs and INGOs, parliamentarians, policy makers, government officials, politicians, UN agencies, private sector, the media and others.
